iSBEM (Simplified Building Energy Model)
For non-dwellings, such as commercial or industrial scale buildings, SBEM is the method of calculating a buildings energy and carbon performance.
As part of the UK Part L Building Regulations, all new build structures and some extensions require SBEM calculations. They should be submitted at the same time as your Building Control Application.
Energy Rating Services are experienced in SBEM calculations and delivering the ‘pass’ rating that you require. We use a computer software-based model called iSBEM (developed by BRE) to establish energy ratings.
